2012 Operation Skyhook pictures

Operation Skyhook, an annual fly-in event organized and operated by the Black Pilots of America has called Grider Field in Pine Bluff, Arkansas home for more than 10 years. BPA members from coast-to-coast fly their own aircraft in to participate in the event. Other members and friends travel by more conventional means to attend the event.
Members compete in flour bomb drops, spot landing, and balloon bursts. They also participate in formation flying. Members also conduct aviation seminars for youngsters during the meeting. They also provide free airplane rides for children and teenagers. This gallery shows 14 pictures with a lot of young happy faces who are about to or just have taken a ride in an airplane.
